Canon PIXMA iX7000 is the benchmark for Business A3 size inkjet printers. The Pixma iX7000 is an attractive model for the relatively narrow range of A3 printers at an affordable price. Canon PIXMA iX7000

The Pixma iX7000 uses the so-called PgR technology (Pigment Reaction). The ink droplets, in turn, are 2 picoliters in size. For office use, the Pixma iX7000 is equipped with a paper cassette that can hold up to 250 sheets (A3+). For home users, on the other hand, this size should be sufficient. Canon claims that this A3 printer is capable of printing posters, graphics, and diagrams or large tables on A3+ paper size, as well as printing on smaller paper sizes. This Pixma A3 printer is capable of handling paper media with sizes A3+, A3, A4, A5, B4, B5, Letter, Legal, Ledger, 4×6″, 5×7″, 8×10″, 10×12″. This printer is capable of printing at a resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. Although this printer is intended for businesses, even home users can print photos with good print quality for the size of an inkjet printer. This printer is capable of printing high-quality 4R or 4×6” photos in 44 seconds. Canon PIXMA iX7000 ink cartridges

The Canon PIXMA iX7000 printer uses three ink cartridges: one black cartridge (PGI-9BK) and two color cartridges (CLI-8C and CLI-8M). The PGI-9BK cartridge is a pigment-based ink cartridge that is designed to produce crisp, sharp text and lines. The CLI-8C and CLI-8M cartridges are dye-based ink cartridges that are used for printing color documents and photos. To change the ink cartridges in your Canon PIXMA iX7000 printer, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on and the front cover is open.
  2. Wait for the print head to stop moving.
  3. Press down on the tab on the front of the empty ink cartridge and remove it from the printer.
  4. Remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging and remove the protective tape.
  5. Hold the new ink cartridge with the label facing up and push it into the corresponding slot until it clicks into place.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for any other ink cartridges that need to be replaced.
  7. Close the front cover of the printer.
  8. Wait for the printer to recognize the new ink cartridges. This may take a few moments.

Once the printer recognizes the new ink cartridges, you can resume printing. If you experience any issues with the ink cartridges after replacing them, consult the printer’s user manual or contact Canon support for assistance.
