Wireless Inkjet Printer Instructions
This is the easiest wireless inkjet printer instruction way to connect the PIXMA MG3650S printer, please use the WPS connection method to connect it.
- First, make sure the wireless network router is within range of the Canon printer and the router’s WPS button can be used;
- Then, press and hold the [Wireless] button on the printer until the wireless network light on the printer flashes;
- Next, press the [Wireless] button until the Direct light is on;
- Then, press the [Power] button, and make sure the ON light and the wireless light are flashing, then press the [WPS] button on the wireless router within 2 minutes. The blue Wi-Fi light on the printer will continue to flash while searching for a wireless network, and the Power and Wi-Fi lights will flash when connecting to the wireless network router access point;
- Finally, once the PIXMA MG3650S printer has successfully established a connection to your wireless network, the Power and Wi-Fi lights will stop flashing and remain on. The wireless network router light will also be on.
Confirm network settings
To confirm the Canon printer has successfully connected to the wireless network. You can print wireless network settings on the printer:
- First, make sure your Canon printer is turned on by pressing the power button;
- Then, load a sheet of legal or Letter-sized printing paper:
- Next, press and hold the [Wi-Fi] button until the Wi-Fi light flashes once, then release the Wi-Fi button;
- After that, press the [Power] button, then press the [Wi-Fi] button twice;
- Finally, press the Power button [Green] or [Black]. Then the wireless network information page will be printed.
When referring to the printout, check that “Connection” shows “Active” and that the SSID -Service Set Identifier (name of your wireless network) shows the correct name of your wireless network.
