Configure Wireless Printer
- First, remove the printer from its packaging;
- Then, plug the printer into a wall outlet;
- Next, insert the ink or toner cartridge. (Please refer to the printer manual);
- Finally, select the appropriate wireless printer connection.
You will have the possibility to connect your wireless printer in four different ways:
- First, the wireless connection automatically;
- Then, the settings are protected on the WiFi network using a WPS connection;
- Next, the wireless printer setup wizard;
- Finally, you can set up a wireless printer using a USB cable.
Connect the printer via a wireless network

Connect a wireless printer to Windows

Connection a wireless printer to Mac
- First, connect the USB cable to the port on the back of the printer. Then connect the other end of the cable to your Mac computer;
- Then, once the connection is established. Start the wireless setup by running the Wireless Settings app;
- Next, click Open to allow the wireless settings app to run;
- Then, the main setup screen will display the main page of the Easy Wireless Setup program. Click Next to start the configuration;
- Then, select a wireless setup method. Select Use a USB cable, then click Next;
- Next, temporarily connect the printer to your Mac computer if you haven’t already, then click Next;
- After that, the Wizard installer will search for the connected devices and extract the wireless network information;
- Then, click Advanced Settings to enter the wireless network information;
- Next, enter all your network information in the specified boxes, then click Next;
- Then, the printer then tries to connect to the selected wireless network;
- Next, the Wi-Fi Direct information is displayed. If you want to enable Wi-Fi Direct, make sure the box is checked. Then write down the password somewhere. Once selected, click Next;
- Then, a message appears indicating that the connection has been established. Click Next to continue;
- Next, use wireless confirmation and configuration and unplug the USB cable. Click Next to continue;
- Finally, setting up the printer connected to the Mac is complete. Select Print & Scan in System Preferences to view your printer.
Connect the Wireless Printer to iPad/iPhone/iPod
- First, open the application from which you want to print;
- Then, click the share or configuration icon to access the application’s printing options, then click “print”;
- Finally, select your printer (which supports the AirPrint function) or access your printer by entering your printer’s password or IP address (via a third-party application).
Connect a wireless printer to your Android smartphone or tablet
- First, go to Android Device settings;
- Next, select “Print” then “Add service”;
- Then, select the Cloud that matches your printer brand (for example, Brother, Canon, and Epson) or select a generic Cloud;
- Finally, configure Cloud and enter your printer’s password or IP address if needed.
